Eternal Memory, Vladyka Andrew.

Retired Bishop Andrew of the Pittsburgh Metropolia fell asleep in the lord on Dec 8th after being in a car accident. He was serving as the priest for St Nicholas Byzantine Catholic church in Perth Amboy, NJ.

St Nicholas parish was the home of my grandfather, who had met Bishop Andrew (as a priest) in the 1960's.

Yeah, I remember Bishop Andrew Pataki from when he was Bishop here for the Eparchy of Parma during the early '90s. It seems like he didn't last long here, though. He wasn't exactly perfect. Although I wish I could have met him when we was here, though. Vichnaya Pamyat' Vladyko Andrey (Andrew, I know, just used his Slavonic name here, though).
