This appears to be Pascha at St Nicholas. The pictures are dated as April 15th, 1956. The parish is still active, but with a considerably smaller congregation than in the 1950's. More recently in 2009, the altar was restored to the proper square shape and an iconstas has been installed

Nice use of the altar rails incorporated into the screen. That way the gift (of them) remains but in a more Eastern use.
The fact of gifts to the church and what to do when restoring back to traditions is a delicate balancing act. As a family member of the founding cantor(s), I am happy with the balance. It would have been nice to have one of those old world floor to ceiling iconostas's, but this works too.
